Have you considered a career in real estate but you’re not sure where to begin? Today we’ll talk about what steps you need to take to become a Realtor, and how to decide if it’s the right path for you. 

Becoming an agent can be rewarding and lucrative. We help people build wealth through real estate, and our business is built on forming connections with clients who work with us. In the state of Minnesota, you'll first need to complete three 30-hour courses that are available virtually or in person if you want to become a licensed Realtor. You're required to pass both a state and national real estate exam. After that, the next step is to choose a brokerage and join a real estate board. The entire process can take about 60 days based on how quickly you complete the courses and pass the exams.

There are ebbs and flows with real estate. It's essential to evolve along with the changes year after year. As a new Realtor, you'll need mentorship, accountability, leadership, and coaching to learn the many facets of your job. The effort you put into growing your business and the consistency you maintain in marketing and prospecting activities will soon produce a steady flow of clients. By doing this, you don't have peaks and valleys with your income.

As a new Realtor, it's recommended to join a team, so you can learn the foundation needed to achieve an unlimited earning potential and grow a lucrative business for yourself. You can also leverage your team’s systems, leadership, training, and mentorship. In other words, you don't have to recreate the wheel—you can tap into proven processes to reach your goals.

We're in need of agents willing to put forth the effort to work with these customers. We're looking for coachable individuals to mentor, grow a fulfilling career, and utilize our systems, staff, tools, and training. We're also looking for licensed, salaried-showing partners to assist our other agents on the team while learning about real estate. This is an incredible paid internship opportunity.
